Wiñayhuayna

The name, “eternally young” comes from an orchid which grows during the entire year in the region. Indeed, when we arrive in Huiñay Huayna, we can feel the tropical climate of Machu Picchu. This urban complex and the big staircase in the middle is the beginning of the arrival to the sacred Inca citadel. On the top, there is a ceremonial square, with sacred baths in the middle.
